Family – that’s what Anvaya means; it’s also the very essence which Anvaya Cove stands for. To be more precise, it’s “A return to meaningful family traditions.” (via Anvaya Cove)

2 people worked on this particular project. It was my then-junior, Gretch Fuentes, & I. The task dictated to create most of the important pages & I took it upon myself to design the home page. Sadly, this was study numero uno & the approved one was much simpler compared to this. Still, I liked this one better than the approved study (:P), so I’m featuring this instead.

P.S. Not really sure what happened to this particular project – if it did push through or not. Still, this one is the unapproved design so I’m guessing it’s ok to post it.

  • Client: Anvaya Cove
  • Project Brief: Create a website design for Ayala’s Anvaya Cove. It shall be used by existing homeowners & by interested home buyers.
  • Materials: Pencil & paper, Adobe Photoshop
  • Font(s): Playfair Display, Bebas Neue, Gotham
  • Designed for: Carbon Digital, Inc.

In part, there was a bit of miscommunication: we were under the impression that the target market was mainly the would-be home buyers rather than existing homeowners when in fact, it was the other way around.

Thinking about Anvaya Cove, it exuded exclusivity & luxury. It’s a unique place with a unique topography. With mountains to climb, beaches to swim in, lounges to chill at – the possibilities are endless! My main takeaway though is that Anvaya offers families to relax, bond, & retire from the urban jungle that they usually frequent.

Clearly, the cove has some great places to feature & I wanted that to be the selling point of the entire site without bombarding or filling the spaces up with just images. I wanted text & imagery to coincide one another – giving information while showing the benefits of living in such a wonderful place & what it has to offer.

Their current site has a video, so I wanted to feature it also to entice would-be buyers.

Anvaya Cove has several neighborhoods to choose from – offering different sceneries & features. This section’s goal was to provide sufficient information to the viewer of the different neighborhoods in Anvaya. I decided to use a slideshow for the users to interact with the “map” of the neighborhoods & see the differences between each of the places.

For the articles, it will be filled with blog posts excerpts & some announcements for the existing homeowners.

The last section features some contact information & form for easy access in case the viewer decides he/she wants to contact Anvaya Cove directly.

An Instagram feed covers the very bottom for Anvaya Cove’s Instagram posts. It will add more in-depth & personal view of the many happenings & features in the cove!

Overall: Though this study wasn’t approved & was converted to a much simpler one albeit with the same look but with fewer visuals, it was still interesting to work on this website & also quite fun!
